The Parish Finance Council is a consultative body which unites laity and clergy in prayer, service leadership, and financial planning. Members work together, listening to the Holy Spirit as they discern what is best for the whole parish in light of the Gospel, the Church’s teaching, the parish pastoral plan, and the experiences and needs of the parish community.
The Pastor consults the Council on major financial concerns which affect the life and mission of the parish. The Council’s recommendations deal with financial plans and policies, not with ordinary matters of day-to-day administration.
